As you may have seen on our social media over the past year, Catfish’s lead singer and guitarist Matt Long has been battling bowel cancer.  He has just been told that the chemotherapy hasn’t worked and the cancer has spread to his liver and stomach lining. The hospital are not sure there is anything else they can do on the NHS so we are now having to look at private options in the USA.

Inevitably there will be gig cancellations over the next few months while Matt fights this, but his cancer team have also said that keeping at least some of the schedule of gigs and festivals will be good to keep some normality.  Please keep an eye on the gig list on the website and Facebook page where we will keep you updated.

 

The music community and our friends have come together and have raised a large amount of money on a crowdfunder so that we can give him access to whatever treatment is available which may help him either live a little longer or maybe with a miracle save his life.
